The Services We Provide
HomeLife Carers provide services to a wide range of user groups throughout the community, including:
Older people, those with memory impairment, people with learning and/or physical disabilities, those who have a life threatening illness, people who have mental health problems, people who have a terminal illness, people who are ill (other than terminal illness), people who are recovering from illness or hospital treatment.
Where clients require specialist care, Care Workers will receive specific training to ensure the best possible level of care is provided, ensuring that the benefits of our services are maximised at all times. We guarantee that only a Care Worker who has the correct qualifications and necessary experience would be provided to cater for your specific, individual needs.
HomeLife Carers aim to ensure that you are able to enjoy the comfort of your own home for as long as you wish. As such, our Care Workers are here to assist you with any of the following tasks as and when you may require them:
Personal Care . . .
Personal Care services can be provided by all Care Workers at HomeLife Carers. Such services include; helping you to get up in the morning, washing, dressing, toileting, bed-making, helping you to go to bed at night, etc. Care Workers can also help you to take medicines that have been prescribed by your doctor; this is however subject to certain restrictions which would be explained to you.
Personal Services . . .
Personal tasks such as preparing shopping lists, doing the shopping, collecting your pension (with your specific permission only) and helping to manage personal affairs such as birthdays and other anniversaries, are all tasks which your Care Worker is able to carryout with you/for you.
Home Help & Domestic Services . . .
Your Care Worker will be able to undertake light domestic chores such as hoovering, dusting and general cleaning, washing up and personal laundry. Subject to certain limitations your Care Worker will also be able to help with light gardening duties.
Preparation of Meals . . .
Your Care Worker will be able to help you prepare your breakfast, your mid-day meal, evening meal or supper and any other refreshments required during the day. If appropriate, your Care Worker can also sit with you while you have your meals for companionship purposes.
Night Care . . .
HomeLife Carers offer a Night Care service which we have segmented into three bands of care. These are as follows:
Awake - a service for clients who require constant attention during the night for which the Care Worker will not sleep.
Sitting - a service for clients who may need periodic attention during the night. The Care Worker will expect only to sleep intermittently.
Sleeping - a service for clients who do not wish to be left alone during the night. The Care Worker will expect to sleep and a bed should be provided.
